There’s something so comforting about creating simple, natural products for your home. I’ve been slowly replacing store-bought items with cleaner, more intentional options — and this all-natural honey body wash is one of my favorites.
It’s made with just three simple ingredients: castile soap, almond oil, and raw honey. That’s it.
No harsh chemicals. No complicated steps. Just wholesome ingredients that leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Why I Love This DIY Body Wash
I love knowing exactly what’s going on my skin. So many commercial body washes contain artificial fragrances, sulfates, and preservatives. While they may smell nice, they can sometimes leave skin feeling dry or irritated.
This homemade version:

Ingredients
If you have a smaller container, you can use smaller amounts. They will all be equal parts. So you can also do 1/2 cup of each ingredient instead of 1 cup.
- 1 cup liquid castile soap
- 1 cup sweet almond oil
- 1 cup raw honey
Optional: a few drops of essential oil (like lavender or lemon) if you enjoy a light scent.
Why These Ingredients Work
Castile Soap
A plant-based soap that gently cleans without stripping your skin’s natural oils.
Sweet Almond Oil
Lightweight and moisturizing, it helps soften and nourish the skin.
Raw Honey
Honey is naturally antibacterial and hydrating. It helps draw moisture into the skin and gives this body wash a silky feel.
How to Make It
- Add the castile soap to a bottle or jar.
- Stir in the almond oil.
- Add the honey and gently mix until fully combined.
- Shake lightly before each use.
That’s it!
Because this recipe doesn’t contain artificial stabilizers, you may notice some natural separation — just give it a gentle shake.
